At The School Gates understands that choosing the right school for your child is amongst the most important decisions you will ever make. We also knows that it can be a decision that’s hard to make on your own. Websites and education guides undoubtedly provide helpful information, but inevitably only tell half the story. We know that parents often need tailor-made advice and support before making a choice.
For many, too, paying for an education at an independent day or boarding school is now as expensive as buying a house and, while few of us would consider purchasing property without taking independent professional advice, many parents select schools armed only with local gossip and experience of their own schooldays.
At The School Gates prides itself on being able to provide up-to-date, independent information and a clear-sighted overview of both the state and the private sector. We do not work for schools (though we’ve visited dozens of them), we work for parents and try to advise our clients as if they were our friends.
We believe we can give impartial and realistic guidance about the often complex way the education system works and help parents make wise decisions about all stages of their children’s education.
